About Us

Statement Of Philosophy

The mission of Madison High School is to meet the needs of our students in an alternative setting, while striving to create a quality program, using multiple educational approaches. Our students work in a small classroom format and individually according to their needs and abilities. We strive to create citizens who will be an integral part of their community and the “work” world.

Welcome Back

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students,

Re: Welcome Back!

I am excited to welcome all students back to school for the start of the 2023-2024 school year!  Our first day of school will be Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  Our school hours for the school year are the same each day.  MCHS begins at 8:30 and ends at 12:00.  To ensure a smooth start to the school year, please remember to complete the Data Confirmation in the Aeries Parent Portal. necessary paperwork found in your Aeries Parent Portal. Please send the completed emergency form with your student on the first day of school. Data confirmation in Aeries is now open.  At your earliest convenience please log into Aeries Parent Portal to complete the Data Confirmation. The link is: https://esparto.aeries.net/student/LoginParent.aspx.

This year there will be a new staff member joining the MCHS team.  Mr. Thomas Nelson will be MCHS teacher this year.  He will be focusing on getting to know our students, encouraging students to stay on track, and communicating with parents and students regarding student progress.

Students should meet the bus/van every day in Esparto at 8:25.  The bus stop is located across from the Esparto Unified School District’s “Bus Barn” located at the corner of  Plainfield Street and Yolo Ave. Students will be dropped off at Esparto High School daily at 12:05.  At this time, students will have the opportunity to eat lunch in the EHS cafeteria.  It is important that students must stay off the EHS campus after eating their lunch as they are not permitted to be on the EHS campus or any other EUSD campus for non-school related purposes.

As a reminder, it is very important that students arrive at school everyday, and continue to work at home independently.  Additionally, if students need to leave early for appointments, they must be checked out of school with a note or phone call to our office at 530-787-3165.

We look forward to a successful 2023-2024 school year where students continue to earn credits to move towards graduation.
