FDA Shelf-Lide Extension of COVID-19 At-Home Tests
EUSD currently has two at-home COVID-19 tests available for use by students and staff—the InteliSwab COVID-19 Rapid Test by OraSure Technologies and the FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test. The FDA has approved the test to extend the shelf-life expiration dates indicated on the boxes. All take-home tests being distributed to EUSD students and staff have been approved by the FDA for a shelf life extension through 02/17/2024, with many of them having a shelf life extension through 9/14/2024.
